We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

When you use wexporting, you are trusting us with your files for the sole purpose of processing them. We want to be clear:

  • No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • No Telemetry: The Application does not send usage data, analytics, or crash reports to us or any third-party servers.
  • No File Uploads: All files you select for processing remain on your local device. We do not upload your images, videos, or other content to the cloud or any external server.

2. Local Processing

wexporting is designed as a local-only processing tool.

  • On-Device Processing: All image and video conversions, upscaling, and optimizations are performed entirely on your computer's Central Processing Unit (CPU) and/or Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).
  • Data Isolation: Your files never leave your control. They are processed in memory and saved directly to the location you specify on your hard drive.

3. Third-Party Libraries

The Application utilizes several open-source third-party libraries to perform media processing tasks, including but not limited to:

  • FFmpeg
  • ImageMagick
  • Real-ESRGAN
  • RIFE (Real-Time Intermediate Flow Estimation)

These libraries are implemented strictly as processing engines. In the context of this Application, they do not have independent data-gathering capabilities and do not transmit data to their respective developers or other parties.

4. Permissions

To function correctly, the Application requires access to your device's File System.

  • Reason for Access: This permission is necessary solely to:

1. Read the input files you explicitly select for processing.

2. Write (save) the processed output files to your chosen destination folder.

  • Scope: The Application only accesses files and folders that you authorize through the user interface (e.g., drag-and-drop or file selection dialogs). It does not scan your drive for other data.

5. User Rights

Although we do not collect or hold any of your personal data, we acknowledge your rights under privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request information about the data we hold on you. (In our case, this is none).
  • Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your data. (Since we do not store your data, there is nothing for us to delete).
  • Right to Rectification: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate data.

Since all data and files reside locally on your device, you verify key control over your information at all times. You can delete the Application and all associated files from your device at any time to remove all local traces.

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
